Dennis Wong

Mr. Wong Tat Tung, MH, JP has over 25 years’ business experience in the field of asset management and investment. He was appointed as the Vice President of Credit Suisse Privilege Limited in Hong Kong in 1998 and has later become a responsible officer of asset management for other financial institutions for many years. Mr. Wong has dedicated many efforts in developing business related to health management in recent years because he believes that being healthy and wealthy are the pursuit of most people. The founding of H&W Group aims at devloping advanced laboratory testing, medical and health management services. Mr. Wong is currently the Chairman of Young+ Wellness and KK WeCheck Limited.

Besides being an entrepreneur, Mr. Wong has also been a keen participant of public welfare and social service over the years. He has held office in numerous non-profit organizations, including:

Dr. Gina Jiang small

Dr. Gina Jiang is the Managing Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology and the Head of Technology Integration and Application at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she leads the establishment of the Advanced Therapy Products (ATP) GMP Centre, the modernisation of Proprietary Chinese Medicine (pCM) manufacturing, the expansion of the institute’s GMP capabilities and capacities, and trainings of GMP talents.

A medical entrepreneur that sits at the intersection of medicine, design, and technology, Dr. Jiang has built a number of med tech startups in Silicon Valley and Taipei, including FGMi, Inc., which focuses on analysing patients’ clinical needs and overall patient journeys to accelerate beachside researches to bedside applications.

Prof. Yuk Lam LO, BBS

Professor Lo has extensive experience in biotechnology industry, corporate management, academic research and community service.
Currently Professor Lo is serving as the Founding President of HK Bio-Med Innotech Association. He is also the Honorary Founding Chairman of Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization.
In the educational area, Professor Lo has been elected an Honorary Fellow of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also the Honorary Professor of several universities in China.
Professor Lo was heavily involved in several committees of the HKSAR Government. He had been served as the Chairman of the Advisory Council for Food Safety of the Food and Health Bureau HKSAR, Director of the Hong Kong Applied R&D Fund Co. Ltd., Chairman of the Biotechnology Committee of the Hong Kong Industry & Technology Development Council, and Chairman of Biotechnology Projects Vetting Committee of the Innovation and Technology Fund, HKSAR.
In Mainland China, Professor Lo is a member of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in Jilin Province. He was also a consultant of the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of China. In recognition of his leadership in the community and dedication to his field, Professor Lo has received many awards, such as the “Pericles International Prize” in 2019. He is the second Asian and the first person from Hong Kong to be awarded the Prize since it was founded in 1986. In 2020, Professor Lo was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star from the HKSAR government for his outstanding services over the past decades.
In the business sector, Professor Lo is the Chairman of GT Healthcare Capital Partners, and Partner & Investment Committee Member of Hongsen Investment Management Limited. As at the date of this annual report, Professor Lo holds directorships in the following listed companies:

Professor Albert Cheung Hoi Yu is a world-renowned bio-entrepreneur and scientist with over 30 years of experience in the field of neuroscience and molecular diagnostics. He received his PhD from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada and spent subsequent years in UCSF, Stanford, HKUST and Peking University. He has published 174 peer review scientific papers, several commentaries in NEJM, Science and Nature Biotechnology, and 14 books. He founded HKLife and is leading a research team to develop the BioRadar® System, an automatic diagnostic platform. He has invented numerous technologies including 76 global patents. Professor Yu has many awards such as “National Science and Technology Progress Award”, “China Cooperative Innovation Award”, “Asia Pacific Frost & Sullivan Product Differentiation Excellence Award for In-Vitro Diagnostics”, “Hong Kong Industry Award”.  

His broad cross-cultural experience and an active involvement in both the academic and business create an extensive global network and contacts in China. He is now an important facilitator of dialogue regarding the development of biotechnology in Asia, putting Hong Kong onto the global biotechnology map. Recently, he pushes forward a major international biotech convention - BIOHK, so as for all of us to have a global biotech platform in Asia to showcase the accomplishments, exchange ideas, trade our products, fundraising, and more.
