Vice Chairman: Professor Wilton Chi-Wai CHAU, Ph.D.

Professor Chau has over 26-year extensive experience in venture capital and direct investment and is the Chairman of QLeap Venture Fund, a venture capital fund mainly investing in Asian early-stage technology ventures. He is the Founding Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong Business Angel Network and the Lead-Consultant to the Incu-Tech Program of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Park (HKSTP) responsible for leading a team of CUHK consultants to advise technology incubatees in HKSTP regarding their business models and fundraising strategies.

In academic area, he is a Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship and an Associate Director of the MBA programme, teaching two MBA courses: “Venture Capital & Private Equity” and "New Venture Business Project-Fundraising for Entrepreneurial Venturing" in the CUHK Business School. He serves as an Executive Board Member in the Centre for Business Innovation and Globalization and Center for Entrepreneurship of CUHK, a member of the Business Entrepreneurship Support & Training (BEST) Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Baptist University, an Advisory Committee Member of the Business Degree Program in the Singapore SIM University and a Council member of the Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization. He is a member of a Singapore legal arbitrator association with a British professional accountant qualification, a bachelor degree in applied mathematics, a law degree, a master and a doctorate degree in business administration.
