How HKBIO collects and uses personal data submitted through this website.
When you send an enquiry, apply for membership, register for an event or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, organisation, position, email address, phone number and message.
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, process membership and event registrations, and — if you subscribe — send you HKBIO news and event announcements. Event registration details may be shared with co-organisers of that event for event administration. We do not sell your personal data.
We count page views without cookies and do not store IP addresses. Visits from browsers with “Do Not Track” enabled are not counted.
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), you may request access to or correction of your personal data, or unsubscribe from our emails, by contacting us at enquiry@hkbio.org.hk.
