Social Capital Builder Awards 2020 
(社會資本動力獎2020) 

HKBIO as a Collaborative Partner to the Social Capital Builder (“SCB”) Awards organised by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) of the Labour and Welfare Bureau. 香港生物科技協會是勞工及福利局社區投資共享基金(CIIF)舉辦的「社會資本動力獎」的合作夥伴。

1.Introduction 簡介
Social capital is essential for the economic prosperity and sustainable development of a society. It helps build a caring society of mutual trust and solidarity, and enhances mutual support among individuals, families and organisations so that our community can grow from strengthen to strength.
社會資本有助建立一個互信互助、團結及充滿人情味的社會，讓個人、家庭及組織互相支援，令社區能力得以提升，對社會的經濟繁榮和持續發展起著非常重要的作用。

To accord recognition to individuals, corporates/organisations who have contributed to the development of social capital in Hong Kong, the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) of the Labour and Welfare Bureau has organised the biennial SCB Awards since 2012. The Awards provide an opportunity for various sectors of the community to witness and share the achievements in building social capital in Hong Kong.  爲了表揚及嘉許對香港社會資本發展有貢獻的個人及企業／機構，勞工及福利局轄下的社區投資共享基金（基金）由2012年起舉辦兩年一度的「社會資本動力獎」嘉許計劃 ，讓社會各界共同見證及分享香港建立社會資本的成果。

2.Objectives
To encourage individuals and corporates/organisations to fulfill social responsibility by promoting social capital. 鼓勵個人及企業／機構實踐社會責任以推動建立社會資本。
To recognise individuals and corporates/organisations who have contributed to the development of social capital in Hong Kong. 公開嘉許對香港社會資本發展有卓越貢獻的個人及企業／機構。
To facilitate cross-sectoral collaboration and participation in building social capital in Hong Kong. 推動跨界別合作並積極投入建立香港的社會資本。

3.Eligibility Criteria
Commercial entities registered with the Certificates of Incorporation, and organisations in public and private sectors, such as government departments, statutory bodies, chambers of commerce, professional bodies, educational bodies, universities or tertiary educational institutions, medical institutions, social service organisations etc. 持有獨立公司註冊證書之商業機構，以及公營及私營業務的團體，例如政府部門、法定機構、商會、專業組織、教育團體、大學或大專院校、醫療機構、社會服務團體等。
